Most of the services rendered will provide an Editorial or Translator's note detailing the issues found in your manuscript and what changes are being suggested. It is up the author to agree, or not, on these changes. Suggestions are to be used as guides for the author to fix any issues regarding their manuscript.

Price for the services listed below are not fixed and are subject to change based on market rates as suggested by the Editorial Freelancers Association. Beta Reading
A beta reader is a test reader of an unreleased piece of work: literature or any other type of writing, and gives feedback from the point of view of an average reader to the author. This feedback is then used by the author to fix any issues regarding the manuscript's plot, pacing, or consistency.

As a beta reader I will provide reader feedback via a Critique Letter (similar to an Editorial Letter) where I will give my overall impressions of the manuscript, review, suggestions, and development issues found (overall and not in depth. For in-depth developmental feedback please look at Developmental Editing) within the manuscript, what worked and what didn't, and my overall impressions of the manuscript.

Fee: Base rate $50 + $1.50 (USD) per 1,000 words
Developmental Editing
Developmental Editing is a type of editing that helps with the development of a manuscript. Inconsistencies in a creative project like plot holes, dropped characters, logical inconsistencies, and structural deficiencies will be noted and pinpointed to help the author remain consistent throughout their novel.

As an editor I will identify what works and what needs improvement in a manuscript draft and provide an editorial letter to help the author identify and plan for revision(s).
